Dr. Babitha Rao JK is a Prominent Ayurveda Surgeon and Medical Practitioner from the Garden City Bangalore in Karnataka. She is one of the most sought after Medical Practitioners in the field of Ayurveda Medicine and is a flag bearer for 'Pure Ayurveda Chikitsa'. She aims to bring back the forgotten ancient practices of Ayurveda and restore the glory of Ayurveda to its Apex.

Dr. Babitha studied her Master of Surgery (MS - General Surgery in Ayurveda) from the well revered KVG College of Ayurveda, Sullia DK under RGUHS Bangalore where she was conferred the degree 'Ayurveda Dhanavantari' (Ayurveda Surgeon).

She completed her Master of Arts (Sanskrit) Degree from KSOU Mysuru, Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) Degree from the esteemed SDM Ayurveda College & Hospital, Hassan under RGUHS Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Bio Technology from Maharani Lakshmi Ammani College & Diploma in Bio Informatics under Bangalore University.

Her Immense interest to explore the deeper meanings of Ancient Samhitas lead her to pursue PGD in Manuscriptology & Paleography from IGNCA Delhi & Masters Degree in Samskrita (Sanskrit) which she is currently pursuing. Her active interest in different applied fields of Ayurveda lead  Dr. Babitha to pursue various Certificate Courses such as:-

• Garbadhana Sanskar

• Ayurveda Dermatology, Trichology & Cosmetology

• Ayurveda Cardiology

• Sports Medicine & Ayurveda etc.

Dr. Babitha also practices has experience in Panchagavya Chikitsa with specific focus on Cancer Care.  She has been a spokesperson and Guest Lecturer in various Public Awareness Programmes and Professional Forums. She regularly visits as faculty at Ayurveda Gurukula at Shrungashyamala, Karkala Karnataka interacting with Residential International Medical Practitioners/ Students. She has also published various articles in International Journals, Public Magazines etc. She has also volunteered in various Medical Camps across India. Recently She has served as a 'Corona Warrior' in the wake of the ongoing Pandemic Situation.
